Muswell Hill residents looking to find out more about renewable energy products such as PV solar panels might benefit from a forthcoming event in their region.
This weekend will see an event take place in the area to raise awareness of Haringey''s new status as one of the government''s Low Carbon Zones.
Recycling will be one topic that is focused on during the showcase at Muswell Hill Primary School, while the issue of retro-fitting is also set to be up for discussion.
Clair Kober, the leader of Haringey Council, suggests that it is important for local residents to get behind the Low Carbon Zone scheme.
''The council is committed to this project but we need everyone to do what they can to help us become the greenest borough and do our bit to tackle climate change,'' she commented.
Meanwhile, the council might also help to improve the environmental credentials of the borough with the launch of its Haringey Biodiversity Action Plan.
